Universal Cardboard Headsets

• When using Amelia remotely or using the Homework feature, you can use any Universal Cardboard Headset that meets the requirements of your phone type and size.
• The smartphone app is available for both Android and iPhone.

How to switch into VR mode:

1. To change to VR mode, you have to click on the button Enable VR mode.
    
   
   
   
2. You will next see a question pop up, so you can confirm your decision to switch mode.
   
   
   
   
3. If it’s the first time you do it, you should see the option to scan the QR code of your universal headset.
   
   
   
   
4. Once you are in, you will see the image like so:
   
   
   
   
5. In VR mode the cursor appears as a small orange dot in the center of your view (each lens).
   
   
   
   
6. To exit the VR mode, you need to click on the “X” you see on the left top button of the screen. 
   
   
   
   
7. You will see a message pop up asking you if you are sure you want to exit the VR mode, in case you are in the middle of a session. Confirm and you will be able to switch back to 2D mode. 
   
   

How to use the QR code to configure the app view with the headset in Google cardboard:

1. Download the Google Cardboard app on Google Play or App Store.
2. When you open the app you will be asked to scan a QR code. Universal headsets usually have a QR code. If the packaging of your headset doesn't have the QR code on it, you can search for it online or look at this website which has a long long list of headsets with QR codes!
3. In the Cardboard app, all you need to do is scan the code and this will configure any VR-compatible apps on your phone to have the compatible view with your headset!

* In the first time downloading our app and enabling VR mode you would also have been prompted to scan the QR code of your headset, if you have skipped this step previously you can either do it via the Google cardboard app or delete and reinstall our app to be prompted within Amelia to scan the code again!
