Minimum computer/Smartphone requirements.*

There are a minimum of requirements that must be met so that the Amelia platform can run.

  • Operating system: Windows® 7 or later / Mac® 9 or later / Linux architecture that supports Google Chrome (64 bit).
  • Media: Google Chrome
  • Processor:  1 GHz processors or higher or any SoC that meets the following requirements:
    • Compatible with x86 or x64 architectures.
    • Supports PAE, NX, and SSE2.
    • Supports CMPXCHG16b, LAHF / SAHF, and PrefetchW for operating systems installed with 64-bit.
  • Graphics: Microsoft DirectX 9 or higher.
  • Memory: Minimum of 1 GB RAM for 32 bit, 2 GB RAM for 64 bit. For use of the High-Quality visor, 4GB RAM is recommended.
  • Minimum storage capacity: 32 GB or more.
  • Internet: Broadband connection.

If the wifi network utilizes security firewalls, please ensure that you allow permission to access the Amelia Product URLs. These can be found in the Amelia Virtual Care Platform under the About Amelia section.

  • Resolution: 800 x 600 minimum screen resolution.

* The Amelia platform is designed to be used with laptops or PCs but is compatible with most of the latest generation Android / IOS tablets that have access to the Google Chrome application. If you experience difficulties whilst using a tablet it may be that your tablet is not compatible and it is necessary to move to work from a laptop or PC.

 

Minimum requirements for Smartphone

- Latest updated version.

- Must have gyroscope included.

- It can not be a flip phone. 

- Ensure that the mobile has sufficient storage space to download environments (We recommend that when using VR environments, such as Imagery for Relaxation, a minimum of 1GB of storage is required and when you are using 360 environments, such as Swimming with Dolphins, 5GB storage is required to ensure the environment plays well!)
