How to use the Configuration and Events when using an environment

Configuration

This part of the control page contains the variables of the environment to be reproduced in the session. The configuration variables determine which elements will be present in the scene, regulating the exposure the patient faces.

The configuration options can only be changed before launching the environment, or after clicking on Restart.

Not all environments will have configuration variables, the presence or absence of configuration variables, as well as their use will be explained in the environment manual

Events

This section contains the variables that interact with the scene during the playback time.

These variables are divided into 3 tabs:

  • Events tab: Contains a list of events specific to the environment being used. It may be the case that some environments do not have events. You will find this information in the user manual for the environment.
  • Audio guides tab: Contains the relax sound events, which allow you to play an audio to help reduce the activation of the patient during the scene playback.
  • Interoceptive tab: Contains sound effects that allow you to increase the proprioception of the patient by being able to reproduce a sound of breathing and heart rate, at the same time that you can change both the breathing rate and the speed of the heart rate.
